Women Building Futures: Panel Talk

  • Poplar Union 2 Cotall Street London, England, E14 6TL United Kingdom (map)

In partnership with Poplar Union, this panel brings together women working at the grassroots across sport, health, community organising and creative practice to reflect on what it takes to sustain impact in challenging times.

With perspectives spanning policy, public health, sport and community led campaigning, Jennifer Ogunyemi, Safia Jama MBE, Aspana Begum and Alice Dearing will share lived experience of navigating funding pressures, burnout, visibility and collaboration.

Together, they’ll explore the different ways grassroots work shows up across sectors, where opportunities for collective care and partnership exist, and how we continue building resilient, community-rooted work for the long term.
